EDITORIAL
Commissioned by the Sint Joost Academy and the Beeld en Geluid Archive, this project is a contemporary reinterpretation of a pre-WWII political cartoon. Where the original critiqued the inaction of political leaders, my work explores the moral agency of the consumer and the role of corporate boycotts as a form of modern political protest.
COMICS
A mixed-media project that champions upcycling as a direct alternative to the fast fashion cycle. By integrating digital scans of my own clothing, the project brings a tangible, tactile quality to the narrative. It functions as a practical, visual guide that empowers readers to extend their wardrobe's life through creative customization, such as patching and distressing.
