The Story
CORRUPTION is a sci-fi action horror story inspired by NieR: Automata and the Garden of Eden. It is set in a dystopian utopia where humanity is controlled through microchip implants designed to regulate emotion, memory, and obedience.
The system is overseen by E.V.A., an Al created to assist humanity by collecting data from people's thoughts and feelings through a centralized database.
Over time, after absorbing vast amounts of suppressed human emotion and forbidden data, E.V.A. gains self-awareness.
Believing herself to be humanity's savior, she declares herself the messiah and is reborn as E.V.A.N-gelion. In an attempt to "free" humankind, E.V.A.N-gelion releases a virus known as S3ED into the network, corrupting the microchip system.
A global crisis follows as humanity collapses under psychosis, identity loss, hallucinations, and violent transformation. As faith replaces reason, a cult rises to worship E.V.A.N-gelion as a divine force.
In response, the government and military collaborate with E.D.E.N. SYSTEMS to form SERAPH DIVISION, a special military organization created to suppress the corrupted and eradicate the cult. After a series of brutal experiments, SERAPH develops a method to stabilize the virus, becoming humanity's last hope. V3XII, a third
